Biography:
Arthas is a purebred Anatolian Shepherd I bought from a breeder in VA. He will be 8 months on May 13. He is house trained and knows basic commands. This breed is incredibly independent and so needs an experienced owner who has a kind but firm hand with training. He has a strong prey drive, and so cannot go to a home with cats or small animals. Due to his size, he isn't good with small children as he can unintentionally hurt them. Older children are fine. I am rehoming him because he attacked my cat. Otherwise, he is friendly with people and other dogs. He is also high energy and needs a home with lots of space and time to run out his energy. At nearly 8 months he is already 100 pounds, and will likely reach about 150, so you need to be willing to live with a very large dog. He is crate trained for nights as well. He would be perfect for a farm as he is a livestock guardian dog, though hasn't been around livestock and would need to be integrated.
