Pet’s Information

Pet’s Name: Ash

Biography:

Ash is about a year old according to vets, and he became a stray when his caretaker passed away in October of last year. He began following us around the neighborhood asking for food in March and eventually began sleeping on our porch trying to come inside. We brought him in on July 31st and got him neutered and all. He tested positive for FIV but is healthy otherwise. We were doing slow intros between Ash and our resident cat, but he does not seem to like other cats as he gets very agitated when he sees the community cats and our resident cat (long story short, he also managed to get out of his room and attacked her on Sunday. She’s healing fine but we can’t risk her getting hurt again. This might discourage folks from adopting him, but I think it’s best to be truthful). He is the cuddliest cat ever, super sweet, and warms up fast to humans. He demands head scratches and likes to use your arm as a pillow or he’ll try to snuggle his head into your hand. He's always making biscuits and is a total purr-machine! If you’re looking for a cat who will greet you when you come home, he’s your guy! He just wants to be the center of attention and needs to be a solo cat. I promise you’ll love him.

We put Revolution+ on him as a preventative, and he takes a Lysine gel supplement twice a day (just put it next to his food).
