Biography:

Brisket is an 8 month old miniature poodle. He is potty trained to go outside, he rings bells to let you know he needs to go out. He is friendly with other dogs, good with teens and adults, he has no experience with young children. He is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. He is currently on Simparica trio for flea protection. Brisket is very high energy which is why he is looking for a new home. We have cats and and French Bulldog and both are at their wits end with his constant playful energy. He gets in the cat's business which they don't find cute at all and it has led to him being swiped more than once. One of our cats has decided she utterly despises him and takes any opportunity to strike him. He loves fetch, he knows sit, stay, and leave it. He can walk on a leash with harness but he needs work. He will need a home where he can have a fully fenced yard of reasonable size and family who like to be active all day long. He is vocal if someone approaches the property or he hears other dogs barking. We tried crate training him but he screamed bloody murder and tried to escape the crate every time.

Reason for re-homing:

Brisket needs a new home as our cats are not warming to him and have become aggressive towards him. He wants to play with them but they are wholly uninterested and he is not reading the room. He has a lot of energy and even though I work from home, I can't meet his needs.
