Pet’s Information

Pet’s Name: Casanova

Biography:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE ADOPTING A RABBIT, there are many youtube videos that are very informational.

About the bun: Casanova is a 9-year-old beautiful and calm rabbit. He isn't very playful, but very friendly. You need a pet to talk to? he'll be there. He loves to be pet on his head, it's his favorite spot. He ignores toys, so I would get him hay to help keep his teeth healthy. He also loves his freedom, so please try not to carry him too much! Only for emergencies like getting him out of somewhere or putting him in a carrier. He gets along great with other rabbits once they get to know each other. He isn't litter trained but there are many videos on how to do train him! Blueberries are his favorite treat. He also loves to be outside in the shade and eating grass/plants. We recommend you brush him every week, and research the proper way to cut his nails. He is neutered! He has had ear mites but they have been treated. For any extra information you would like to know, please send me an email.

Reason for rehoming: He has been the best pet I could have ever asked for. Unfortunately, I got this rabbit when I was 7, and it was my first rabbit and pet overall, so I knew nothing about how they were supposed to be cared for. My parents thought what most people think about rabbits, they are easy starter pets who need little to no care at all. I'm here to tell you that's not true at all. I recommend doing your research before adopting a rabbit. Anyways, I didn't know the amount of care I needed to put into this rabbit. Only until recently, I started educating myself on the care they need. One of them was how they are delicate animals who can't be too cold or too hot. The right environment for them during the summer months would be inside with the AC on. I can't do that in my own home, so I want to give him to someone who does.

Breed: Bunny Rabbit

Gender: Male

Date of Birth: December 6, 2011

Color/Markings: white / albino

Weight: 6.4lbs.

Size: Medium

Re-Home Fee: $40.00

Reason for re-homing:

The weather is getting really hot outside and bunnies can't be in the heat. Unfortunately, I can't have him inside so I've been trying to keep him cool outside but nothing has worked. The only solution would be for someone who is willing to let a rabbit free roam inside a room or the whole house throughout the summer months to stay cool.
