Owner’s Name:Christopher Mannino
Pet’s Name: Chief
What you'll love about him: Chief is an affectionate teddy bear still in the puppy phase. He loves family and is excited to make you happy. Just under a year old, he is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines and in great health. He is house trained, crate trained and comes when called.
Why we're re-homing him: He was a foster rescue that we took with us on a move out of state to Florida. This handsome boy loves his foster family, but unfortunately for us he is too high energy for our smallest children and his rambunctious play results in them getting knocked about. He also reacts aggressively to dogs outside of the home and yard, which is not ideal for our close backyards. He adores our other dog (a lab mix) and gets along great with him.
Chief would do great in a home with older children or no children and without cats. Space is a plus as is time to play with him and take him on walks.
Date of Birth: November 27, 2021
Color/Markings: Fawn with black snout
Re-Home Fee: $125
Reason for re-homing:
Chief is a teddy bear inside the home but is high energy and easily knocks over our small children when he is playing or whacks them in the face with his tail. He would do well in a home with older children (about age 7 or older) or no children.
Also, while he is great with our other dog and the dog of our mom, he is aggressive towards dogs he sees outside of the home or yard. He also chases cats. He would do well in a location with space.
