Biography:
Edgar and Kupo are two bonded male sugar gliders. They have been together since birth, but not genetically related. They are healthy and should live to be 12-15 with continued quality care.
Edgar has always been the home-body, even in the past when I was able to provide out of cage playtime he almost always preferred to go back home in the cage until he warmed up to being out and about. He is a gentle little snuggler when he feels safe in his pouch, such as daytime bonding if you have a pouch in your lap while working or something.
Kupo is the adventurer, he always wants to explore his surroundings and is more active on the wheel and such. This applies to at night because during the day he's definitely the one in the pouch trying to hide and get sleep if you got them in your lap lol.
While I din't spend a ton of time bonding with them or handling them, they still warm up and climb all over strangers quite easily.
The only issue there has ever been is when I switched to a high quality food that they both LOVED, Kupo broke the very tip of Edgar's tail and that needed to be amputated. That was years ago and any fighting over that new food had sorted itself out within days of that switch.
