Biography:

We adopted Ellie from a shelter who found her on the street when she was about a year and a half. Although she was shy around us at first, we soon got to know her playful personality. She loves tug of war and chasing toys, and LOVES running around with other dogs at the park. She has quite a bit of energy and would do so well in a home that has another dog. She also sleeps a lot though and loves cuddling/physical contact from her owners. She's extremely loyal to her people and although she doesn't currently live with kids, we've seen her be very gentle with the ones she's met. We found out after her adoption that she has heart worm so we attempted the fast kill treatment. She didn't respond well to it though and we've seen been treating her with the slow kill method (monthly heart worm medicine) ever since, which our vet thought would completely and successfully treat it. You would never know it was a health concern because of how happy and active she is. She's been such a sweet dog and we're so sad to let her go, but ultimately we just want her to be in a great home when we move.

We're looking for a new home for our sweet dog, Ellie. She's roughly two years old, loves to snuggle, chase a ball, and play tug of war. She's extremely loyal to her owners and is gentle with kids. The most ideal home would be one with another active dog because she loves to run and play with other dogs at the dog park. She's been such a sweet part of our lives but sadly our apartment just isn't big enough to give her the space she needs, and we'll be moving soon because we're active duty military.
