Biography:

We purchased Ellie from the Ozuaukee Humane Society in November 2019. At that time we were told that she was 1 year old. I do not believe that it is common practice to spay/neuter Guinea Pigs and we were told to only partner her with other females otherwise they would mate. She is friendly, although, true to the guineas nature, also timid and likes to hide. We’ve been told by some that you can potty train guineas, however, with 4 kids, we did not have the time to try that out, so she does not have that ability. Keep that in mind while holding her and letting her run free of her cage. She does have another female Guinea that she lives with, Reccie, who we are also looking to ReHome. Ideally, the two would go together as Guinea Pigs typically do best in pairs or more. We also have a full cage setup for purchase if interested.
