!!Snuggly brothers alert!! Looking for a super friendly feline pair? Eric (gray) & Finn (orange) are littermates and best buds - they eat, sleep, & play together...and they both love humans!
History: Eric and Finn were born on July 23, 2022 to a mama cat living with a family in South Charlotte. The family had 2 kids, a dog, and 2 cats, one of which was their mama cat. The kittens and their 3 other siblings stayed for 10 weeks until they were all ready for adoption. So in October 2022 my family brought Eric and Finn to Cornelius, NC to live. We do not have any other pets but we do have 3 young children, and Eric and Finn have proven tolerance to some rough petting. The boys have been indoor cats all their lives.
Personality - Eric: Eric is a smart cat. He figured out how to open some of the doors in our house (thankfully not the ones that lead outdoors!). He was also a fast learner when it came to the scratching post. He is seemingly more dominant than his brother. If he wants a toy his brother is playing with, he gets it. But he is not a bully - they really love each other and never have real fights...only playful ones that end in licking! Eric enjoys curling up on a chair in the living room so he can passively observe who comes and goes. He also loves to sleep on laps! Sitting at any window is also his jam. Eric always eagerly joins his brother for their wet food meals, although he doesn't have as big an appetite for it like he does for the dry food.
Personality - Finn: Finn is a sweet boy who loves to follow his humans around. Any time you go to another room, little guy wants to come along for the company! He also enjoys plopping down in the sunny spots on the floor closest to where the humans are. Finn loves to be cradled belly up like a baby and have his chin and neck scratched. He will adoringly hug your arm while you do it! Finn loves his wet food and often finishes Eric's plate. It might be my imagination but I think he does not nap as much as Eric -- he is too distracted by what the humans are up to!
Favorite Things: Having their fur brushed, chasing the laser pointer, playing with the little plastic spiral cat toys (<--they are OBSESSED with that toy!), getting to eat those liquid "churu" cat treats
Medical: The cats are up to date on shots and are neutered. They did have fleas when adopted so they were treated for fleas and worms in October. No other health issues!
Ideal Home: I think these boys would do well in most situations. Their early weeks were with a dog and I think they would do fine with another one. They would also do great with kids. They are really active so they would also be good farm cats to help with rodent control. As long as they are getting some regular human scratches and snuggles every day they will do just fine.
