Biography:
Falkor is a great dog who needs an experienced owner to help him feel confident and secure. Falkor loves playing ball, going for walks, sunbathing and snuggling up on the couch. He is okay with older children that understand boundaries and I believe he would be best as an only pet or with a well trained dog that could help teach him manners.

Background info: I adopted Falkor at 6 months old, he loved being a puppy and playing with other dogs. At 1 year old we were both attacked by a large Akita, the attack was traumatic for both of us. He has since become protective of me, developing anxiety aggression and possession aggression. I am told that he does much better when I am not in his presence which is why I am hoping to give him a fresh start with a new owner. I would love to keep him but I am currently pregnant and both myself and partner worry about him developing possession aggression over the baby. This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make, I know he does better without me and I would like to give him the chance at a normal, happier life, where he can regain his confidence and learn how to be a dog again.
