Pet’s Name: Frankie
Biography:
This is Frankie. We got him when he was 6 weeks old from a breeder in San Diego. He is 2.5 years old and full of character. He is a typical bulldog who loves his sleep, snuggles, and can be very stubborn. He's healthy with mild allergies; takes Apoquel. He is super loving but also has anxiety issues that developed into aggression, leading him to bite us on several occasions. We live in a small apartment and believe he would have less anxiety in a bigger home with a yard and another dog. His anxiety is shown when we leave the home or when we have large groups in our small apartment. He loves car rides, treats, playing in the grass, sunbathing, and playing with his toys. He is obedient to sit, stay, here, shake, etc. and plays well with other dogs in the park but takes a while to warm up to the dog owners. We are extremely heartbroken with the decision to rehome him but we know it is the right decision for him and for our family. We are looking for someone to love him and be willing to work with his anxiety. We don't want him to be taken to a shelter if it doesn't work, we will take him back and try again!
