Owner’s Name:Mandy T
Pet’s Name: Kota
Kota will be 1 on October 12, 2022. She is AKC. She is not spayed.
Kota is fully house-trained and rings bells when needing to go out. She grazes on her food throughout the day. She knows how to sit, lay down, spin, and come. She is shock-collar trained and we use a prong collar to walk her.
She sleeps with us (her owners) all night and sleeps 8-10 hours without needing to go out. She is not allowed on furniture (expect the patio furniture)
When in the confines of our home, she is fantastic. However, we can no longer take her on walks. She is reactive to other animals when on leash. She sounds aggressive but it has never turned into anything more than just sounds… we believe it is more protective than anything (due to her breed) She is boarded monthly and there are never issues but we believe that is because it is away from her territory (our home)
We feel like a life of just our house and backyard are not adequate for her fulfillment in life. We have a 10 & 11 year old and she is great with them. Anytime they have friends over, there are no issues at all.
Breed: Anatolian Shepard
Date of Birth: October 12, 2021
Re-Home Fee: $150
Reason for re-homing:
Kota needs wide open spaces to roam and explore. She is not her best self on a leash and is territorial when on leash. We live in a HOA subdivision with a small yard that does not seem conducive to her needs.

Current on Vaccines: Yes
