Biography:

Nova is really a sweetheart. When we first got her we were living on a farm with a lot of space and she absolutely loved all the room to run and get her energy out. We have since moved to a suburban neighborhood and are going through a divorce so we just don't have the time or energy to give her the love she needs, not to mention that once we do split up I won't have a house with a yard to keep her in. If you look up her breed then you will know that these are very energetic dogs and they loooove people. She did have a companion dog originally and I believe that is a must for her to be happy. She has been an outside pet for us and she does fine but she really needs to be an inside/outside animal with plenty of people and doggy love for her to be truly happy. I got her originally because I wanted a running companion but she started to limp when I took her on long runs. Not sure what's going on there but she seems fine if I don't take her on runs. She loves all people but she is a bit jumpy if she hasn't seen you for 10 minutes and so she regularly knocks down our 2 year old. She settles down after a couple minutes, though. One behavioral issue she has that I know comes from her herding instincts is that she will bark at and chase anything. She goes crazy around cattle and horses and she barks viciously at our inside cats from outside. She is best around people and other dogs. She is very playful with other dogs, no issues there.
