Pet’s Information

Pet’s Name: Saint

Biography:

As I said above, I recently purchased my family's first pet. I have lived in my same apartment complex for 7 years (many neighbors have dogs). Come to find out, we are not supposed to have pets. I do feel singled out by my apartment manager, but at this time I can't afford to "rock the boat" so to speak and risk eviction, especially not the way rent and housing is right now in California. I am sick with sadness about having to re-home our baby. We fell in love immediately and have grown a bond over the last couple weeks. He is about 12 weeks old, he has had his first round of shots and deworming. He is in good health. He has such a playful and silly personality. He is very loving and emotional (he gives sad eyes if he's in trouble) but he is adorable and perfect for a family pet especially those with small children (my daughter is 6). He is still getting the hang of potty training, we have a doggy door that leads to our patio and we have semi-successfully trained him to "go potty outside ". He's a baby, he has accidents here and there, but potty training just goes along with the many responsibilities of having a pet. Please take him only if you have the time to love him and train him. As well as the finances to take care of his health and wellness as well as happiness.

Reason for re-homing:

I recently got Saint as our first family pet. I have lived in my same apartment complex for 7 years and many of my neighbors have dogs (large and small). Apparently dogs are no longer allowed in our complex. Although I do feel singled out by my manager about my tiny puppy, I don't want to "rock the boat" and risk eviction. This is not the economy for that, and the way rent has been in California eviction is a very scary thought. This is why I am looking to re-home our baby, even though the thought makes me sick as we have grown to love him in these short weeks he has been apart of my family, I feel that I don't have any other reasonable choice.
