Biography:

Sofi is a beautiful girl with a sweet demeanor. She will bark at first when she doesn’t know a person, but she is absolutely non-aggressive, has never bitten and has a heart of gold. Sadly, we now care for my father-in-law in the home. He is 88 and not in great health. Needless to say, this has put a tremendous strain on the family, not just emotionally, but time-wise and financially. We are at the point where it has become a daily struggle. This, is in addition to caring for 3 other dogs and holding full-time jobs has become overwhelming. While it hurts me to have to even consider rehoming her, we are absolutely in over our heads to say the least and are unable to provide Sofi with the time and the care that she needs. She has a limp due to an injury she suffered while running. She is a bit of a goofball and ran so fast, she hit her leg on the wall when turning the corner. We have not been able to afford the treatment for this. It doesn’t seem to bother her, however, every now and again she will limp. She is NOT an outdoor dog. Left outside she experiences major anxiety. She likes to run out, do her business and immediately run back inside. Not sure why she does this but we have never been able to correct this issue. Other than this, she is an amazing companion, a snuggler, loving, fantastic with kids and other dogs, and just a great family member. We have never owned cats so I don’t know how she would react.
