PERFECT PET FOR AN ACTIVE ADULT OR COUPLE!!

Stella is a sweet dog. She loves to play, loves walks, runs, loves walking on the shore of a lake nearby, car rides, or just to simply watch tv with you. She is a bit fearful of thunder.

Essentially Stella has been an only pet all of her life. We have no small children around but she gets along well with my granddaughter who is 12.

Stella is chipped, spayed and has all her shots. We give her Heart worm (Heartgard) and flea and tick (Nexgard) medication every month.

We love Stella and are sad about this decision however the financial situation of paying for the boarding facility and my son being out of work untenable. We believe this is the only viable solution and just wish we can find a loving and caring new owner.

Reason for re-homing:

My son took care of Stella since birth but last year he became ill and then lost his job and place to live, he has been unable to take care of her. My husband and I are elderly and my husband had polio as a child and his balance is poor. We had to place Stella in a boarding home since last February, this February 16 will be exactly one year. We go and give her her heart worm medicine and flea and tick medicine every month and visit her as much as we can, but it is financially untenable to continue to board her.
