Biography:
Yoshi - Male Frenchie - Black/light Brindle with white chest
Almost 4 years old - 25 Lbs - Not Neutered - Very friendly with people and other animals.
My Girlfriend and I have had Yoshi for 4 years, since he was a pup. We got him from a popular breeder in Rosharon. He is quite possibly the most loving dog you could ever meet. Any time there is a chance for cuddles, he will be all up in there. He is very relaxed whenever he is around other people. When he's not around other people, he can get somewhat anxious. He will cry by varying degrees, depending on where his crate or isolation is compared to other people in the house. He wants to be around people all the time. He does not bark at all, unless he hears someone at the door, or until he becomes accustomed to the homes ice-maker.
He might try to mark a little territory when he arrives in a new home, he has to be watched carefully for a few days for that. Once he gets used to his new area though, he can drink massive amounts of water and hold it all day, up to 14 hours or longer, without needing to relieve himself. Those are not ideal hours of course, but he has unfortunately had to become accustomed to holding it, and is very good at it.
He is easy to train with treats. He knows what i want him to go do if i just point my finger in a general direction, like get off couch, lay down on dogbed, go to kennel etc. He has lived with 3 different dogs, and two different cats and has not had issues with any of them. He does not have any medical issues, and was given the necessary and recommended shots for the first two years of his life. We have lapsed on his shots for a while, our personal lives have been a whirlwind for the last year and a half. Surprisingly for his breed, he does not snore at all! Not even when sniffing or sleeping. Does not have any breathing problems, or ANY of the other problems associated with these dog types. Believe me, ive went down the whole list.
Currently he does have some fleas due to the local area, it is difficult to contain the flea problem in the backyard. We are soon going to be moving in with others, which is why we must finally rehome him. We have been putting it off and stringing him along for too long. He currently has some skin thing going on, but im fairly sure he's just sensitive to the flea bites. We are taking him to a vet on the 14th to get him tip-top, ready for his new home. The bald spot near his tail is from him itching his booty on the kennel, when he had more fleas. Fleas are largely gone, and the fur around his tail has recovered 50%. It used to be a lot larger.
We are looking to rehome him asap, but will wait as long as it takes to find the right home for him. We have had to rehome hurricane harvey stray cats in the past, and had a really bad experience with it. This is why we are going to take our time with Yoshi. He is very loving, and deserves the best home.
