Biography:
Zander is an amazingly sweet and loving boy. He is neutered, update to date on his vaccines until March 2024, and is heartworm negative. He is fully potty trained, crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. Zander would be happiest in an active environment where he has a fenced yard to run and play. He loves to play ball, with his toys and eating pumpkin off his lick mat. He loves to please and gives great hugs!
He does jump sometimes but he is extremely trainable. He also would be happiest as an only pet as he gets super excited when he sees another animal, but not aggressive or hostile. He is very gentle with people but a little rough with other animals (in a playful way).
We are looking for a home for Zander where we know he will be taken care of and loved.

Reason for re-homing:
It is with great sadness that we need to rehome Zander. We adopted him a few weeks ago from another organization for my son and his 92 year old grandmother whom he cares for. While my son absolutely loves Zander, his grandmother has stated he is too big and that we need to find him a new home. I would love to be able to take him; however, we have 4 other rescues and don't have the room.
