Biography:

Zero is a 3 year old purebred Black Mouth Cur. They are an American native bred working breed, since the 1700s. He has received hunter training and has hunted. Due to past trauma and other issues, his rehome must be someone with working breed knowledge, and fear-free training methodology. Consent petting and food/resource management are necessary.

Zero does better with a female handler. He is a highly energetic dog who needs exercise for his body and his brain. He lives with 3 cats currently, and has lived with both other dogs and children in the past. He's crate-trained, and sleeps in his bed near our bed.

Ideally, he would have lots of space to run, and people who can be with him almost all of the time. Zero is a resource guarder (food-aggressive), and needs help to feel safe and loved.
