Biography:
Spyke is a handsome black puppy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He is still very young and in an important stage of development, which means he is full of curiosity, energy, and the desire to bond closely with his people. Spyke thrives on attention, affection, and gentle guidance, and he would do best with a loving family committed to continuing his training and socialization.
Spyke’s personality is playful, affectionate, and loyal. He enjoys being close to people and likes to feel secure by resting near furniture or cozy spaces. Like many puppies, he is still learning how to settle himself and benefits from routine, structure, and reassurance. He is eager to please and responds well to calm, consistent handling.
Medical / Veterinary Information:
At this time, Spyke is a young puppy and is still in the process of completing his veterinary care. His vaccination schedule may be in progress, and his new family should plan to continue routine puppy vaccinations, wellness exams, and preventative care as recommended by a veterinarian.
Due to his age, heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention should be discussed with a vet to ensure proper products and dosing moving forward.

Spyke is a typical puppy and is still learning basic behaviors, boundaries, and self-soothing. He may whine when trying to get comfortable or when he is seeking reassurance, which is common at his age. He will benefit greatly from crate training, basic obedience training, and positive reinforcement. No aggressive behaviors have been observed.

Spyke would do best in a stable, patient, and loving home with someone who understands puppy development and is willing to invest time into training, routine, and bonding. A home where he can receive regular exercise, mental stimulation, and affection would be ideal. Families or individuals who are active and committed to raising a puppy into a well-adjusted adult dog would be a great fit.

Needs a loving family, that can dedicate the time for his care. Our family travels and are students, so there’s no adequate time to care for the puppy. He’s super sweet and loving, wish we could keep him, but we won’t be able to.
