Biography:
We fell in love with Ash when he was just a kitten while on an unplanned family day at the mall. Special Pals had a setup in the center of the mall, and we were drawn to his playful, friendly personality. We already had a cat at home, but she likes her space, so we wanted a cat who would enjoy playing with our 9-month-old daughter. Ash fit right in with our little family. He played well with our cat, Tilly, and quickly became our daughter's playmate as well. He was so gentle with her and so sweet to anyone willing to give out pets and cuddles. Unfortunately, just over a year later, we found out our daughter is allergic to cats. We want to keep him so badly, but our daughter's allergies have gotten worse over the last couple of weeks, and her coughing is breaking our hearts. Ash is currently in the care of my in-laws, but they are unable to care for him long-term. Ash does have asthma, which is cared for with inhaler treatments every morning.
