Scamp – Houston, TX

Scamp was rescued from inside the wheel well of a truck at 6 wks old. He is almost 3 years old, cheerful and house-trained, currently 12 pounds. He has been an indoor cat (except using an enclosed patio) since the rescue, fully up on vaccinations and has never had any health issues.

Personality: He is lovely and self-possessed. He is wary of new people but very friendly once accustomed to them. He is affectionate and likes to wrestle, but will also spend long stretches by himself. He likes libraries and music, and is not a picky eater. He sees the neighbor's cat through the patio bars and is curious about him, has never shown aggression.

We are moving to a new place, as I have broken an arm and have balance issues; I can't take him with me. We need to find him a home by next month.
