Biography:

Zues is a 5-year-old neutered dog who was adopted on May 1, 2021, at approximately 8 weeks old. He is a loyal, loving, and energetic companion who has been deeply loved by our family. Zues is crate trained, fully potty trained, and has not had an accident in the house since he was a puppy. He thrives on routine, enjoys spending time outdoors, and absolutely loves water and swimming pools. A fenced yard where he can safely run and play would be ideal for him, as he has a high energy level and needs regular exercise and frequent walks.

Zues is very affectionate and sweet with the people he knows and trusts, and he naturally takes on the role of “house guardian.” Because of this protective nature, he does need an experienced home that can provide structure, boundaries, and continued behavioral guidance. Around unfamiliar people, Zues can be unpredictable and has shown signs of aggression, so he would do best in an adult-only home with no children and with someone willing to continue working on his behavioral needs and helping him build trust with new people.

Zues has a history of severe skin allergies and frequent ear infections. He has previously been treated by a veterinarian for these conditions. He was also on heartworm prevention in past years; however, due to increasing behavioral issues and aggression toward veterinary staff, it has become difficult for him to receive regular veterinary care. Despite these challenges, Zues remains a loving dog with a big personality and a strong bond to his family.

We are looking for a patient, understanding, and experienced home that can provide Zues with the care, consistency, exercise, and attention he needs to succeed. With the right environment and someone committed to working with him, Zues has the potential to be a loyal and devoted companion.
