Biography:
My cat is a very loving and affectionate companion once he feels comfortable with you. He may be shy around new people and usually needs a little time to adjust, but once he builds trust, he forms a strong bond and enjoys being close to his favorite person.
He loves gentle scratches on his back, neck, face, and especially around the base of his tail, but only when he’s in the mood. He isn’t a fan of being picked up or carried and prefers to interact on his own terms.
He’s a bit unusual when it comes to food and strongly prefers dry food over wet food. One of his favorite pastimes is sitting by the window and watching the world outside, although he has no interest in actually going outdoors. He is happiest living as an indoor cat.
He absolutely hates baths or being showered, but he’s incredibly clean and spends a lot of his day grooming himself. He’s always keeping his coat spotless and takes great pride in staying clean.
I rescued him after finding him trapped inside the radiator compartment of an abandoned car, so it’s possible he experienced trauma early in life. Because of that, he can be cautious at first, but beneath that is a sweet, gentle, and loyal cat who simply needs patience, love, and a calm home where he can feel safe.
He is fully vaccinated and has been neutered. He is not microchipped, as it is not required in Fort Bend County. Since he dislikes being outdoors and is a strictly indoor cat, this has never been an issue.
He would do best with a patient family that understands it may take him a little time to settle in. Once he feels safe, he’ll reward you with lots of love and companionship.
