Meet Apolo, a nearly 3-year-old German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix with a beautiful black coat and a white "angel" mark on his chest. Apolo is a gentle and loving dog who thrives on being part of his humans' daily lives. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, running in the yard, or cozying up for a movie night, Apolo loves to be involved and by your side. Apolo is happiest in a home with plenty of space—a fenced yard or some land where he can safely stretch his legs and explore to his heart’s content. He needs an active and strong bestie to be active with him. If you’re looking for a loyal, clever, and affectionate companion who will bring joy and laughter to each day, Apolo would be a wonderful addition to your home and heart. Volenteers at the shelter say he is strong on a leash but listens well. He does best with a doggie harness. Would do wonderfully with training.
