Biography:
Bailey is a 13-year-old Maine Coon cat that has lived in a home for her entire life after being adopted from a shelter at 8 weeks old. She needs to be rehomed due the passing of her guardian in early August. Family is unable to care for her due to sever allergies. She prefers to drink from the faucet, but it is unclear if she drinks from a bowl at night. She should get drops in her ears twice a day, but she does reasonably well without them. She loves to be groomed with a spikey glove but tolerates petting for a short period. While she won't follow you around, she will follow you to the kitchen in anticipation of treats, even if only a couple, but she will eventually end up near you once you settle down into a chair. Although not a sibling, she was adopted with another cat, Jake (also on this site). They don't interact a ton, so I wouldn't say they are bonded, but it would be ideal if they were rehomed together.

My mother had two cats, both 13 years old, but she passed away on August 10th of this year. Although I've been fortunate to have been able to take care of the cats, I must return home soon. Unfortunately, members of my household are severely allergic to cats and I cannot take them with me.
