Pet’s Name: Big Boy
Biography:
I’m desperately seeking a foster or permanent home for two sweet cats who belonged to my son. He entered rehab at the end of April, and the temporary foster care we were able to arrange is ending soon. These cats meant the world to him — they were his comfort during a deeply traumatic time after losing his father in a car accident, which he tragically witnessed.
My son is now in sober living, working hard to rebuild his life. Unfortunately, I cannot take the cats myself as I have two dogs who are not safe around cats.
About the Cats:
- They do not need to stay together — they are independent and spend most of their time apart.
- Both are healthy, affectionate, and litter trained.
- I can help with transportation, supplies, and even vet care if needed.
I’m currently trying to get them into the SPCA foster/rehome program, but I need a backup plan in case that doesn’t work out.
If you or anyone you know might be able to help — even temporarily — please reach out. These cats are deeply loved, and I want to honor my son’s healing journey by making sure they are safe and cared for.
