Biography:

Buddy is a spunky, energetic, very cuddly 4 year old dachshund mix who has a phenomenal track record of getting along with kids aged 1-5, other dogs, and a cat. We recently neutered him and gave him a dental cleaning (just cleaning and no extractions were needed). He always wants to be the center of attention and wants all the cuddles he can get. Unfortunately for us with 3 kids under the age of 5, it has been a significant challenge giving him the time of day that he needs or deserves, because of the time and attention the kids require. He deserves the best and unfortunately that’s not something we are for him at this time.

Our cat in the home is not adjusting well to him, he has done exceptionally well with my other dog in the home, our three kids, and the cat, but we over estimated being able to provide the care that he needs. He would benefit from daily walks (not just letting him out in backyard) and more rigorous play sessions. Unfortunately it has been challenging to provide him the time and attention he needs.
