Biography:

Dash is a 1 year old Husky/ Shepherd mix. He's very sweet and loves playing with other dogs. He may do well with older dogs but with him being young, he'll annoy them. He'll do well as a single pet also. He loves playing fetch in the back yard and loves when you chase him. He's been around young children but crated. He would lick their fingers when they would go up to his cage. He's big, so he can easily knock a little toddler down on accident. Older kids are best for his size and his energy. He can get nervous at times when trying to get in the car, just be patient with him. We've had to carry him into the car because he's scared to jump in the back seat. He's food motivated and knows basic commands like sit, down, wait, cage, and outside. He's crate and potty trained. Once comfortable he'll go to the back door to be let out and sometimes rings the bells. If he's in his cage he'll walk back and forth whining to let you know he needs to go. He's very smart. He's gotten better at not jumping on people, but when he gets excited he jumps every now and then. He knows he's not allowed on couches and will lay in a pet bed, if on the floor.

He's up to date on all shots and is given a Trifexis monthly pill for heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention. He is neutered. He recently got allergies for the first time. The vet said if the pollen is high it irritates dogs skin. They gave him allergy shot which last 4-6 weeks.

He's a inside dog and only let outside to potty and play. He's inside all the time, but it watched since he's still young. He does shed alot. He doesn't like to be combed and scared of baths. It's best to let the groomer know that he's a nervous dog when it comes to that.
