Pet’s Name: Fisher
Biography:
Fisher is an 8-year-old female tabby cat (which I've been told is rare and they are usually boys). She has been with me since she was a kitten. She's named after Carrie Fisher from Star Wars, she has grown up as the queen of my household, alongside a more docile male cat. She's a big girl and very food motivated -- like a female Garfield.
Personality: Fisher is sweet and playful with a feisty streak. She adores attention, pets, and cuddling with humans. She doesn't like to be held or be up high at all really, but she's fascinated with (especially running) water.
Medical History: Fisher is up-to-date on her flea and tick prevention medications. Her vaccination history includes routine shots appropriate for an indoor cat, though her rabies vaccination is due for renewal soon. She definitely needs to lose weight. She's currently on a special diet to help with that.
Reason for Rehoming: I'm moving and can't take two pets with me. Fisher can also be quite assertive with other pets and may not do well in a multi-pet household. She's perfectly fine with humans though, big and small.
Ideal Home: Fisher would thrive in a calm home environment without other pets. She enjoys indoor living and rarely jumps on counters. She's fully litter box trained, very rarely having accidents. She loves to cuddle and sleeps most nights at the foot of my bed.
Additional Information: Fisher is self-sufficient in grooming and is accustomed to being alone for periods of time. She's also very vocal and expressive, letting you know when she's happy, unhappy or needs something. Fisher embodies the stereotypical goofy reputation of orange cats.
Fisher is a delightful cat with a big personality and lots of love and laughter to give to her new family.

Fisher is a sweet, playful and slightly chubby female tabby cat. Think Garfield, but female. She just dominates my docile male cat and won't let him eat when I'm away. I'm also moving and can't take two cats. She would thrive in a household with no other cats (or other pets probably). She's fine with all humans, loves attention, brushing, playing and and cuddling.
