I am reaching out to all rescuers and potential adopters on behalf of two dogs that were dumped in our neighborhood on Dec 5-6th. They had no collars, we're very skinny and had no chip. We brought them into our home, have gotten their shots, spay/neuter and have them working with a trainer. Unfortunately, the youngest one is cat reactive, has a strong prey instinct, and my cat has had to live in our bedroom for over a month. I can no longer foster her because of this. She is currently being boarded by the trainer we hired; but of course, this is not a sustainable situation. They are both sweet souls who love cuddles, are quick learners, and want very much to please. I believe there is a perfect home for them, but at our age, we are better suited to rescuing older dogs. UPDATE: We have been able to find a wonderful forever home for the other dog (smaller chihuahua mix) but are still seeking assistance with the Pitbull mix.
