Biography:
Jake is a 13-year-old cat that has lived in a home for his entire life after being adopted from a shelter at 8 weeks old. He needs to be rehomed due the passing of his guardian in early August. Family is unable to care for him due to sever allergies. He loves shrimp as a treat but eats moist and dry food. He loves to be groomed with a spikey glove but loves to be petted. He is extremely affectionate and is usually snuggled up in bed at night with me. He is extremely inquisitive and interacts with everything brought into the house. He loves boxes and will be in one as soon as it hits the floor. Although not a sibling, he was adopted with another cat, Bailey (also on this site). They don't interact a ton, so I wouldn't say they are bonded, but it would be ideal if they were rehomed together.

My mother had two cats, both 13 years old, but she passed away on August 10th of this year. Although I've been fortunate to have been able to take care of the cats, I must return home soon. Unfortunately, members of my household are severely allergic to cats and I cannot take them with me.
