Biography:
Katana is an 11 month old Catahoula who loves being with her people. She is very playful and would benefit from single owners or a family with children over the age of 5 due to her high energy play style.
Katana has been raised with other dogs and does well with them after slow introductions. The parallel walk introduction method has worked extremely well with her and she will have no problems with dogs who are more laid back in nature especially.
Katana is crate trained and has an intermediate to high level of obedience. She thrives on daily training and responds to both verbal commands and hand signals. Things she is trained on are sit, down, wait/stay, spin, paw, guard/bark, heel, middle and "six" (the middle command but in the opposite direction).
She is being rehomed due to an unexpected health change in our family and we no longer are able to fulfill her needs. Please feel free to reach out with questions about her.
