Meet Knox – A Loving, Loyal Companion Looking for His Next Adventure
Knox is a 4-year-old black lab mix with a big heart and lots of energy. We adopted him from our local shelter when he was just 4 months old, and he’s been a beloved part of our family ever since. He’s neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped.
Knox is crate trained, house trained, and knows basic commands. He’s great with our family, which includes young children and teens. He enjoys playtime, chewing toys, and being close to his people. He’s friendly and affectionate, yet still protective and alert — a wonderful balance for a family dog.
Knox gets along with other dogs but hasn't been around cats, so we’re unsure how he’d respond. He does best in a home where he can get plenty of attention, exercise, and mental stimulation — otherwise, his playful chewing can get the best of him when he's bored.
Rehoming him is an incredibly difficult decision for us, but we believe he deserves more time, space, and activity than we can currently provide. He would thrive with someone who has an active lifestyle, experience with high-energy breeds, or simply the time to give him the consistent engagement he needs.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and energetic companion, Knox may be the perfect fit for your home.
