Biography:
Meet Max! He's a huge cuddle bug! He demands pets with his pyr paw and if that doesn't work he'll nudge you with his snout until you pet him. He's playful and silly too and has tried playing with my other dog but can't because my other dog is small. He has a low energy level and is a couch potato but still enjoys going outside. Max has been raised in a townhouse with three adults and one small senior dog. He is a barker and will guard your property. He has resource guarding so I always feed him separately from my other dog. He will resource guard food/chews from pets and people.
Max would do best in a home with space to roam and bark. If he has a dog sibling maybe one that can handle playing with a large dog.
He gets along with my senior dog but gets scared by other dogs so a slow introduction is needed
Has never been with other types of animals or children. I am willing to test how he does with kids/cats if needed.

He suffers from constantly recurring allergies and I can't afford his vet bills anymore. BUT his vet said that he might just be allergic to Houston's environment so some place with less allergens would be good for him.
