Pet’s Name: Oliver
Biography:
Oliver came to us as a very skinny, matted up sweetheart around June of last year. He appeared several times before that, but never hung around. So, when he stayed near the house, I started feeding him. He is such a gentle sweet boy. He let me brush him and take all the knots out of his beautiful fur, without complaint.
I let Oliver know that if he kept hanging around the house, I'd need to get him fixed. Not sure if he appreciated that, lol. The sweet boy has been neutered. He's had blood work done and has been tested for all the scary cat contagions.
I have two cats with cerebeller hypoplasia, one moderate (he has twisted leg syndrome as well, mostly corrected) and one severe. As well as a nine year old grumpy cat. I wanted to make sure Oliver had no diseases before I brought him inside, that's the reason for the blood work. And that's when I was told that Oliver is 7ish years old.
He gets along with all the cats (well, miss Grumpy is another story). He is very willing to please. I know that's an odd thing to say. But, in the beginning he constantly jumped on the kitchen counters, etc. I disciplined him with barely a squirt from the squirt bottle. He caught on quick! And he is potty trained. I don't know how he is with children as mine a grown. He doesn't mind strangers, Oliver basically ignores them, but loves the occasional head rub. He has absolutely no behavioral issues.
My ideal home for him would be one that has time to play with him and be relatively peaceful.

Reason for re-homing:
This is what leads me here: Unfortunately Oliver has other medical issues that we are unable to provide him with. He has a UTI and stomatitis. He is such a beautiful, gentle and sweet boy that he deserves to be with a family that can help him. I'm in school and I already have one cat that requires a lot of care and the other that has an expensive diet due to stomach sensitivities. We just can't wiggle the finances around enough to help him.
I am asking for a $50 rehoming fee. But, once I'm sent proof of Vet visit after treatment for his conditions it will be refunded.
