Biography:

Hello, this is my sweet girl, Oreo, a Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix, who ONLY understands SPANISH commands/language. She is 8 years old (birthday is in April), weighs about 11-12 pounds, and she is spayed, UTD on all her vaccines, and micro-chipped, too. She’s super sweet, friendly, kind, good with kids and other pets. I will admit though that she has a tendency to growl and bark when she gets annoyed. She will never bite though (and has never bitten anyone or anything since I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks old). She DOES have food aggressive tendencies, but again, she will never bite - just growl at other pets who get near her while she eats, so eating alone is preferable. All in all, despite her age, she’s a very active dog. She loves walks, to be out under the sun and can play all day long. She is truly just like a puppy despite her seemingly old-looking appearance!

The ideal owner for Oreo is either an elderly, retired couple/individual (preferably who speaks Spanish) or just someone who can give her a safe and loving home and lots of time. She will come with her toys, bed, accessories, etc.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:

— She is potty-trained, but she will pee if she waits too long to go. The good thing is that she knows how to use pee pads, ONLY for peeing lol. She refuses to poop on pee pads for some unknown reason…

I will be thoroughly screening all inquiries. There will be a rehoming fee and a contract as well. References will be required.

I am located in the Gainesville area, but I am willing to travel for the perfect candidate.

Unfortunately, I am moving in with my dad out of state soon and he can’t have pets where he lives. I have already exhausted all options with other family members, friends, coworkers… I really don’t want to put her in a rescue or shelter as I am a bit skeptical, but that’s why I am trying out this site, hoping to find that furever home for my baby.
