As he’s gotten older, he’s embraced the art of relaxation—these days, you’ll most likely find him happily lounging in bed or stretched out on the floor enjoying a warm sunbeam. Ralph has mastered the balance of affection and independence: once he greets you and collects a few well-deserved rubs, he’s perfectly content heading back to his cozy spot.

Ralph is gentle, easygoing, and wonderfully mellow. He thrives in a peaceful home environment and would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a laid-back, loving pet. With a heavy heart, I’m looking for a loving new home for Ralph. Due to increased work travel, I’m no longer able to give him the consistent time and care he deserves, especially as he enters his senior years. Ralph is 11 years old and an incredibly sweet, gentle dog. He’s fully house trained, walks calmly right by your side (on or off leash), and has a friendly, affectionate nature. He does great with children and loves being close to his people. He’s an easygoing companion who brings comfort and warmth wherever he goes. As a senior, Ralph does have some medical needs. He takes seizure medication three times a day, receives monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, and may need some dental work in the future.
