Rico comes from Puerto Rico. He is now 7 months old.  My dad was given this puppy at 12 weeks old. My dad is 80 years old and honestly cannot manage a puppy and will not be able to raise the dog through its lifespan. I went to Puerto Rico on vacation in March and as a family we made the decision to bring him home to New Jersey to find him a suitable loving home. I live in a townhome community and he is honestly deprived of the space he once had. The backyard mainly. Being able to venture outside and come in the house is what he is missing. Rico is such a loving dog. Very smart and loves to play and cuddle. He loves kids. He has been great with my kittens. He has gotten really good with going on walks (Squirrels intrigue him to say the least). He goes to the dog park every evening so has been socialized. He has been around my grandpup and does great with him.  Slow introductions are necessary. Rico needs a patient family that will help him navigate through the rest of his puppy phase. Currently waiting on the results of his DNA screening. More to come......
