Biography:
This is a very difficult decision, so I’m trying to do this the right and honest way. My handsome 4 year-old long-haired fluffy super cuddly, gray cat needs a new home. He is not neutered. He is an indoor cat and is very sweet once he feels safe and comfortable. He LOVES to snuggle. He loves to be cradled.
Full transparency:
With everything going on here, I truly believe he needs:
• A calmer home
• A very consistent routine
• Ideally a home where he is the only pet
We are in the process of moving into a home that will not allow cats. We just sold the home and we close in the next few weeks so if anyone is willing to take him, it would have to be in the very near future.
Ideally, we would just like for someone to foster him until we are able to get him back.. The timeframe is not known at this time though and while we would love to have him back, we also understand that another family could get attached so taking him back would only be an option if it was OK with whoever adopts him.
Ideal Home:
• Quiet environment
• Patient person or family
• Willing to start with a safe room and gradual introduction
He is friendly with everyone, including children of all ages. Obviously with cats, there is an adjustment. And they won't come out of their shell until they get acclimated, but that usually only takes a couple weeks or so. Also, his name is Saki and he knows his name and responds to it.

Reason for re-homing:
We are unable to take him to where we are moving And ultimately would love to get him back if possible, while knowing that people do get attached it would be nice to get him back when we can accommodate him again, but that is not set in stone. It's just hope.
