History & Medical Background
Stitch was found with a broken leg and rescued after a month of patient effort. At Northridge Veterinary Clinic, he was diagnosed with FIV, but successfully underwent a leg amputation, neutering, and vaccinations. He was treated for ear infections, takes medication to support his immune system, and uses monthly Advantage II flea prevention. Stitch is highly food-motivated, so taking pills in his meals is incredibly easy!

Personality & Quirks
Because of his past life on the streets, Stitch takes time to warm up and dislikes fast movements. He has nipped or scratched when startled in the past, but is making great progress. He is litter-box trained, though he may mark a new space initially. One major quirk: he will boldly steal food from your plate! We recommend feeding him his meals in a separate room while humans eat.

Ideal Home
Stitch needs a quiet, patient, indoor-only home. Serious inquiries only—preferably a single-pet household or an adopter experienced with (or ready to learn about) caring for a three-legged, FIV+ kitty.
