Pet’s Name: Atlas
Atlas is good with kids but I would recommend kids ages 5 and up. My toddler likes to push his buttons and with anxiety I feel bad. He’s sweet and endearing and once he has trust in you he cuddles and plays and is very loyal. He needs to be on a leash and due to anxiety needs patience with settling in. He loves to run and play, he sings to the harmonica, he plays fetch. He is a herding dog and due to the nature he does try to herd small kids.
He’s a good boy. I just jumped the gun on getting my children a pet thinking they were ready and they are not.
Breed: Soft coated wheaten terrier
Date of Birth: March 20, 2020
Re-Home Fee: $75
Reason for re-homing:
We’ve had him for 3 months and he’s such a good boy. However, he has anxiety(like that of a shy child)and my toddler is relentless at giving the dog space. I feel bad and warn out trying to do what is best for both. Atlas needs patience and attention. His previous owners trained him off an e collar but it also made him paranoid and takes time to earn his trust.
He loves to cuddle and play fetch. He sings to the harmonica and loves car rides.
Needs to be on a leash.
