Pet’s Information

Pet’s Name: Finn

Biography:

I adopted Finn from an animal shelter in 2020 when he was a puppy. He is a loving and gentle dog. He loves to play with feet and he likes to “sing” when he is playing.  He is submissive around other dogs and has never been aggressive.  I have young grandchildren that he adores and has never been aggressive toward. He has never been around cats, as I am allergic to them.  I took him to the vet on July 19, 2023 for all his boosters.  He is current on all vaccinations and will not be due for his next boosters until 2024. And his vet says he is in great shape, with no concerns.  He takes Simparica Trio once a month to prevent heart worms, fleas, ticks, etc.  I give him half a pill in wet food one day, and the other half the next day.  This makes it easier on his system.  He is a beautiful dog and I hate to rehome him but I have medical needs to take care of and need to find him a new home ASAP.  Finn is three years old and has lots of energy so I hope to find him a home where he can run  and play.  I think he would love to have other dogs to live with too. He is good on a leash, but he does pull.  Mainly because he gets excited when he sees a squirrel or rabbit. I have a halter for him when we walk.  He sticks his head right into it without a problem.  He knows basic commands. He has the cutest under bite.  He needs toys for “tough chewers”.  Anything else is torn apart in minutes, so he might swallow parts.  I will be sending him with his cot bed, blanket, his favorite toys, four months worth of Simparica Trio and any food and treats I have at the time. I am praying that the right family/person is out there that will take good care of Finn, and love him as I have.
