Looking for a loving new home for Shiloh

Unfortunately, some new transitioning career opportunities have made it more difficult for me to manage the needs of a new puppy in the home, and Shiloh and my older dog have also not been getting along well, largely due to Shiloh’s energetic puppy nature and play style, so I believe he would do best in a home where he can be the only dog and receive more individualized attention.

Shiloh is a sweet, playful 6-month-old rescue pup looking for a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. He is affectionate, curious, energetic, and loves attention and spending time with people.

He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all required vaccinations.

He is not fully house trained yet, so his new family will need to be patient and consistent while continuing to work with him on potty training and basic manners. Since he is still a puppy, he has plenty of time to learn and would benefit from a home that can give him structure, exercise, attention, and continued training.

He has lots of personality and love to give, and I’m hoping to find him a patient, committed home where he can feel secure and become the best pup he can be.

He is a Whippet mix who is expected to stay on the smaller side, with an estimated adult weight of around 35 pounds or less. He has a lean, athletic build and is still growing into his puppy features.

He is currently eating Hill’s Science Diet puppy food and is currently on NexGard Plus for monthly flea and tick prevention. His new owner will also receive a folder containing his vaccination and veterinary records, along with his current bag of puppy food, one dose of Nexgard plus for his next monthly prevention, his microchip registration information so the new owner can update the contact details into their name, a leash and harness with potty bags, food and water bowls, a few of his toys, and a small dog crate if wanted to help make his transition into his new home easier.

He doesn’t have a personalized collar or ID tag just yet, so his new owner will get to pick those out for him. The new owner will also just need to set up or update his pet insurance in their name once he’s officially home with them.

There is no rehoming fee for Shiloh. The priority is finding him a safe, responsible, permanent home that is a good fit for him.

I am located in Deland, Fl, but I’m open to anyone interested in rehoming him in the central Florida area.
