🐾 Rehoming Killua – 5-Year-Old Husky/Malamute Mix
Killua is a 5-year-old Husky/Malamute mix (born May 4, 2020) looking for a calm, stable home where he can relax and feel secure.
He’s a laid-back, affectionate dog who loves to lounge around the house, soak up the sun, and enjoy a good belly rub. Killua has a more independent personality but forms strong bonds with his person and is a true cuddle bug once he’s comfortable.
He is:
• House-trained
• Crate-trained
• Well-behaved when left alone (non-destructive)
Killua does have some anxiety with loud or unpredictable noises (such as fireworks, balloons, or similar sounds), so he would do best in a quieter environment with someone who can provide reassurance and consistency.
He would thrive as the only dog or with a compatible female dog, as he does not typically do well with other males. During mealtimes, he does best being fed separately or in his crate to maintain a calm, structured routine.
Killua would be a great fit for someone with dog experience who understands how to provide structure, patience, and a low-stress environment.
This has been a very difficult decision, and my priority is finding him a home where he can feel safe, understood, and well cared for.
