Biography:
Pepper is a super sweet 9 year old blue heeler / pit bull mix
She is a sweetie pie who fully subscribes to the "play hard, rest hard" lifestyle. She loves to play in the yard, but then when she's done she loves nothing more than cuddling with you on the couch.
Although she's 9 years old, she has the energy of a young dog - especially when playing with her Jolly Egg! And how can you not love those ears 🥹
When we adopted her in 2020 she had spent 4 years in a shelter, and she still has some lingering anxiety and anti-social behavior. She would do best in a home with only adults (or older children), no other pets, and a yard. She's fully up to date on everything & has no medical issues.
She gets nervous (& very excited) when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, the two of you will be snuggling in no time.
We will gladly travel to ensure she ends up in a loving home!
