Pet’s Name: Rory
Biography:
Rory is an adorable pit-mix (boxer?) puppy who is over a year old and is 40 pounds. I adopted her over four months ago. She is playful, sweet, loving, silly, curious, and cuddly. She loves to chew on her toys and bully sticks and play tug and fetch. She is smart and knows sit, down, crate, place, and touch, and is house and crate-trained.
Rory is currently with a foster in Leesburg, VA enjoying suburban life with three other dogs/friends. I live in DC on a busy and loud street which brings her fear. She thrives in the quieter suburbs with a yard and other dogs, so I'm trying to find her that home! I’m willing to drive her anywhere to meet her new parent.
Rory has never even tried to bite anyone and has no prior injuries. She has a great appetite and is food motivated. She is up-to-date on all vaccinations and is spayed. She is healthy and happy. She is the sweetest and cutest puppy and I would do

Rory is resilient as she was saved from a hoarding situation with six other dogs. She is fearful of loud sounds, new people, and new environments. I live on a busy street with a busy lifestyle which has devastatingly made us incompatible. Rory requires an owner who lives a quieter lifestyle than DC, preferably with an enclosed yard, who understands the patience and love a fearful dog requires. She has seen a trainer and vet behaviorist who diagnosed her with general anxiety disorder, although she has never even tried to bite anyone and has no prior injuries.
